    Panasonic has done a great job with the handling here. The grip feels secure, the buttons are sensibly placed, and I can adjust important settings without constantly digging through menus. It feels sturdy enough for regular outings while remaining comfortable to use for extended sessions.

    Low-light performance has been a pleasant surprise. Indoor gatherings and evening street scenes retain good detail, and I have more flexibility with ISO than I did with my previous camera. The in-body stabilization is especially useful when shooting handheld at slower shutter speeds, helping me capture more usable frames when a tripod would be inconvenient. The electronic viewfinder and rear screen also make framing comfortable in different lighting conditions.

    Video is another area where the camera earns its place in my bag. The footage has pleasing color, and the recording options give me room to experiment with different projects. Phase-detection focusing is a welcome improvement for keeping moving subjects in focus, particularly when recording myself or filming casual activities. I also appreciate the dual card slots, which provide useful flexibility for organizing files or keeping a backup of important work.

    Battery life has been sufficient for my usual photo walks and shorter video sessions, although I still carry a spare for longer days. The body has a reassuring build, and the controls feel dependable rather than overly delicate. What stands out most is how comfortably it handles both still photography and video without forcing me to compromise too much in either area. For the price, it offers a capable set of tools that I can grow with as my skills and projects develop.
